Since I can remember I have always loved making things. Art is my favourite pastime and I find it highly therapeutic. I particularly enjoy silk painting, pottery and photography.
Being raised in a lovely village on the south coast, within walking distance of a large sandy beach, was the most idyllic childhood one could wish for. I do not know life without it, it is one of my favourite places and somewhere I return to as often as possible.
After c. 5 years living in a small town in Surrey, I relocated back to Kent at the end of 2010. I have been doing various things I love since, such as child-minding, creating pottery and painting silks, to volunteering weekly at our local Mind, enjoying an already made family and working in a lovely family run, independent boutique.
My real name is Sarah, but anyone who knows me from birth, also knows me as ‘Larah’ (rhymes with Sarah!). I couldn’t pronounce the letter ‘s’, so instead everything that should have been ‘s’ was replaced with an ‘l’… and it has affectionately stuck! ‘Peppiatt’ is from my Mother’s side.
